The Soap Factory Disco, Palisades Park, New Jersey

The Soap Factory Disco TV Show, helped put disco on the national map. It was the location of a weekly disco television show of the same name in the mid and late 70s. First Nationaly syndicated & then World Wide Syndicated.

Directed by Joe Lo-Re from Bayonne,NJ, along with this sites webmaster John Nadrowski (stage manager) & many other local talents made the Soap Factory the premier disco show of the time.

Then, one night at the close of the 70s, it made the decision to go from disco to rock and cater to a college crowd. It was a sign of the times.
